The BG Tanzania International Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme in Geoscience and Engineering is now open. The scholarship is aimed at equipping Tanzanians with the relevant skills for the energy and related sectors. The scholarship is fully funded by BG to the following Universities; Aberdeen University, Robert Gordon University, Herriot-Watt University and Cranfield University for a range of 23 courses offered within the four Universities.
The
applications are open to Tanzanian nationals only. Applicants must have
relevant degree qualifications in geoscience, engineering and other related
degrees, and meet the minimum English requirements and relevant course entry requirements
as set by the participating University.
The
course duration is 12 months, with a September 2016 start date. Upon successful completion of the post graduate degree programme, beneficiaries could potentially participate in the BG Group's IGDP programme.
The scholarship
application closes on 15th March 2016. Final selection of
beneficiaries will be announced on April 2016. The scholarship is administered by British
Council Tanzania.
